Investment Objective

The Growth Portfolio's investment objective is to seek long-term capital appreciation.

Principal Investment Strategies

Under normal market conditions, the Growth Portfolio will invest approximately 80% of its total assets in equity securities and approximately 20% of its total assets in fixed income securities. The Growth Portfolio can invest up to 100% of its total assets in equity securities and up to 40% of its total assets in fixed income securities. Additionally, the Growth Portfolio can invest up to 70% of its total assets in securities of non-U.S. issuers including investments in emerging markets.
