About the manager
Appleseed Fund employs a go-anywhere value strategy that integrates environmental, social, and governance (ESG) into its stock selection process. We are long-term investors who recognize that value is not created in a single quarter or even in a single year. We look to invest in high quality companies at prices which are steeply discounted relative to our own estimate of intrinsic value. With this strategy, we believe we can generate attractive returns while minimizing the risk of capital losses. At Appleseed, we examine a company's ESG factors when we evaluate an investment, when we communicate with management, and when we vote on shareholder initiatives. Our goal is to generate market-beating returns over the long-term by making prudent, disciplined, and sustainable investments in a range of asset classes from markets around the world.
