Schroders' global network of professionals includes more than 300 portfolio managers and analysts covering the world's developed and emerging investment markets. Worldwide, Schroders employs more than 3,400 staff and has 37 offices in 27 countries as of December 31, 2014.
As a dedicated investment manager, the firm also maintains a demonstrated commitment to primary fundamental research. In fact, it is one of Schroders' greatest strengths. The vast majority of our research is derived from in-house sources, with external providers such as brokers acting as a secondary input. They visit companies for face-to-face talks with senior management - more than 2,791 company visits for emerging markets in 2014.
